Born in Traverse City, Michigan, JodiAnn Stevenson has also lived in various parts of New England, Poland, New Mexico, Nevada and briefly in Chicago, Boston & Brooklyn. After studying mostly contemporary American Poetry for her BA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, JodiAnn went on to obtain an MA in English with an emphasis in writing fiction from New Mexico State University and an MFA in Poetry at Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont. Currently teaching writing & poetry at Delta College in University Center, Michigan, JodiAnn has been teaching writing since 2000 in various institutions, including New Mexico State University in Las Cruces; Dona Ana Branch Community College in El Paso; University of Nevada, Reno; Truckee Meadows Community College; Heartwood College of Art in Kennebunk, Maine; and University of New Hampshire. Prior to teaching college level English, JodiAnn taught English
as a Second Language from 1995-2000 in
Ann Arbor, Michigan;
Rzeszow, Poland; and Boston. |
